o use a word to describe Juliana 'Julchen' Beilschmidt most would say reckless, stubborn, ignorant, proud, rude, selfish, and many more dishonorable traits. But in the thick of things, there can be one word found to describe her.
Curious.
She is consumed by wanderlust and curiosity of the world. Julchen is always open to learning new cultures and trying new foods. Whereas, she is presumed to be closed-minded, she is actually a very accepting woman. Being considered odd herself in her childhood.
Julchen is a very stubborn journalist, she is infamous for getting into fights with the locals of a country over certain manners. Although she is accepting, animal, child, or domestic abuse make her angry with every fiber of her being. Therefore, she covers quite a bit of human interest stories. She is prone to making large donations to humanitarian funds and promoting many. Julchen is even made ambassador of women's rights meetings. Of course, she never stays long, but her help goes a long way.
She has a dire problem with commitment. She can't stay in a place for too long, or hold a man too long in that case. It's not that she isn't seeking romance or passion, she just feels it's best to put it off as long as she continues her travels as a journalist.
Julchen is also infamous for pissing off government leaders, she doesn't mean to, it sort of happens. She's the kind of person you like or hate. But perhaps she is hated because she reports the truth at all times, she takes her job very seriously and leaves nothing out in her reports. Julchen is a very thorough woman in her findings, always finding the facts first before making assumptions or conclusions. In fact, she worked for a gossip column once... she only worked there for two days.
She has a very serious and cynical side of her. At times, she doesn't like to talk to people unless it's an interview. But that's just how she is, Julchen is generally very friendly though. But she's also very lonely, she'll often make jokes that she's like The Doctor, it's easier to be alone. The Prussian (German) does well enough though, and doesn't quite mind her current situation. Traveling and telling the truth and lifting people's ignorance is her job, and she couldn't be happier.
Julchen would be considered pretty if it weren't for her impish grin and her over-confident facial expressions. She has red-violet eyes that are constantly contouring to the light source in the environment. Some may see them as a deep crimson, others may see them as a calming shade of blue.
Her hair is a very pale blonde, perhaps seen as silver. It's very curly, it used to be rather straight, but because of her travels and her lack of brushing it, it morphed into ringlets. Albeit messy, but curls nonetheless.
She hardly ever wears her reporting uniform, although when it comes to important stories, she will wear it. Julchen says it's too tight and uncomfortable but it is mandatory. She once cut it with scissors and replaced it with shorts and a tank-top. Julchen prefers more loose clothing, such as one would wear to a warm country.

I truly am but something... snapped... in me and I fear I'm picking up the dominoes and setting them up once again as i try to cope with what happened. So as natural, I will be taking a break from DA. I'll only be on my main account and that is just to stay in contact with people I have grown rather close to. I hope this "break" is brief but I'm not entirely sure.
